Delegate Program

Share the credit union advantage with MORE of your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers—Plus make some extra money!

What is a BrightStar Delegate? A Delegate is a current Member of BrightStar Credit Union who in normal conversation with friends, family, neighbors and associates talks about the advantages of joining the Credit Union.

What does a Delegate do? As one of BrightStar CU’s Delegates, you'll be a link between the Credit Union and everyone you know. You help us serve the financial needs of the community and benefit your friends and family with money-saving products, services and advice.

Delegates can earn cash! Each qualified new Member referral will earn $5.00, with additional “bonus” incentives available throughout the year.

Who can become a Delegate? Delegates are BrightStar Credit Union members, minimum 18 years of age, in good standing, who want to share the good news about BrightStar. A valid email address is required.

Are there any special skills required? No. We provide you with all the information and any materials required. All you do is encourage others to take advantage of what we can offer. You’ll find that you’ll even enhance your own knowledge and financial skills, plus you can earn additional income. The more referrals you make, the more you can earn.

How do I sign up? Simply complete our online Delegate Application (below). You will be contacted by email with further information.

Here’s how it works:

  • Sign up to become a Delegate. Once approved, we'll send you a supply of personal Delegate Cards.
  • Talk to friends, neighbors or family members – anyone with a specific financial need or just someone who wants to join our Credit Union to save more money. There are hundreds of ways we can help.
  • Tell them that they can join a safe and secure Credit Union that you personally recommend. Ask them if they know that Credit Unions are not-for-profit and exist to serve their Members. Hand them one of your personalized Delegate cards.
  • Friends or family members that you refer then go to one of our convenient branches, become a Member, hand in your Delegate card and begin to enjoy the Credit Union money-saving advantages.
  • Then Delegates earn referral cash!
