Brightstar Credit Union Names Jason B. Thompson Vice President, Operations

Miami, FL – March 11, 2008 – BrightStar Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in South Florida with more than 37,000 members, has named Jason B. Thompson as Vice President, Operations.

“Jason Thompson has extensive technical expertise in the credit union industry,” said Ralph Crockett, President and CEO of BrightStar Credit Union. "His success managing and organizing growth initiatives and service oriented programs for members is of great value."

Thompson is a seasoned senior operations executive with more than 18 years of experience in the credit union industry. His expertise includes retail operations, branch management and strategy development.  Prior to joining BrightStar Credit Union, he was Vice President, Retail Operations at Arkansas Federal Credit Union. He holds a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
