Brightstar Credit Union Names Luis Muñoz Investment Representative

Sunrise, FL—September 1, 2005—BrightStar Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in South Florida with more than 38,000 members, has named Luis Muñoz an Investment Representative in its Investment Center.

“Luis Muñoz has an extensive financial investment background,” said Sam Chesser, Vice President of Marketing for BrightStar Credit Union. His responsibilities include assisting members with financial planning and money management. Prior to this, Muñoz was Senior Investment Representative for BankUnited Financial Services.

The BrightStar CU Investment Center provides a wide variety of products and services available through CUSO Financial Services, L.P., such as financial planning, retirement, investment, insurance, education, estate, tax and business planning, as well as mutual funds, annuities, stocks and bonds. Muñoz is available to meet with clients at all six BrightStar CU branches, providing the knowledge and convenience of a full-service investment firm.

A resident of Miramar, Muñoz earned a degree from Miami-Dade Community College. He holds NASD Series 7 and 63 licenses as well as life, health and variable insurance licenses.
