BrightStar Credit Union Names Andrew Barriger Vice President Of Operations

Sunrise, FL – October 13, 2006 – BrightStar Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in South Florida with more than 36,000 members, has named Andrew Barriger as Vice President of Operations.

“Andrew brings extensive experience in financial operations to his new position,” said Ralph Crockett, President of BrightStar Credit Union.

Barriger has more than 20 years of experience in financial business environments and has strong knowledge of management, lending, real estate and collections. Prior to joining BrightStar Credit Union, he was the North Campus Branch Operations Manager at the University of Michigan Credit Union. He received his MBA and his BSBA in Finance from Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan.
