BrightStar Credit Union Celebrates International Credit Union Day

BrightStar Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in South Florida with more than 38,000 members, is celebrating International Credit Union Day. With more than 86 million credit union members in over 9,000 credit unions nationwide, BrightStar CU is celebrating the importance of credit unions and the unique role they play in member’s lives and their financial well being.

On Thursday, October 20, 2005 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. members of the community can visit any of the BrightStar CU six branches in Broward and:

  • sign up for a prize drawing to win a pair of Disney theme park tickets
  • receive a special ‘star’ cookie.

Broward County students of all ages are also invited to submit original art that represents ‘Members Make It Happen’. The overall winner’s school will receive $500.
