BrightStar Credit Union Sponsors Virtual Field
Trip To The American Revolution For Fifth Grade Students
WHAT: Fifth
grade students in Broward County will go on an ‘electronic
field trip’ back to the American Revolution thanks to sponsor
BrightStar Credit Union’s continuing involvement with the
Broward school system. This unique program from the Colonial
Williamsburg Foundation gives classrooms special access to websites
that engage students by bringing technology to the classroom
and encourages virtual learning. Students will learn about various
topics such as the American Revolution, slavery, and early American
scientists and their discoveries.

PHOTO OPS:
- Fifth grade students using hands-on, virtual learning to
access information about the American Revolution and other
historical topics.
- An entire classroom of fifth graders collaborating and working
together to learn about history in a technologically advanced
environment.
