Broward Schools Credit Union Opens Margate Office

MARGATE, FL—November 19, 2003—Broward Schools Credit Union (BSCU), one of the largest Credit Unions in South Florida, celebrated the grand opening of its Margate location on Wednesday, November 19, 2003.

The grand opening event featured remarks by the Margate Mayor Frank B. Talerico, Mayor of Coral Springs John Sommerer, Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce Chair Joy Carter, BSCU President, Ralph Crockett and BSCU Board Chair Dr. Dorothy Orr. Mayor Talerico presented BSCU with a commemorative plaque. Following the remarks was a ribbon cutting ceremony and refreshments.

"With our new location," said Crockett, "BSCU stands ready to help the residents and employees of Margate, Coral Springs, Pompano and surrounding communities with all their savings, loan and checking needs."

BSCU's Margate branch, located at 3175 North State Road 7 near Sample Road, was designed to communicate warmth, and it features convenient access to the branch, a free Online Service Center, a drive-up ATM and five drive-thru lanes.
