Student Financial Literacy Program

CU@School features in-school credit union branches, financial literacy presentations and career day participation. Students gain valuable life skills on personal finance and the importance of saving while getting hands-on experience with banking. These are fundamental skills that students can carry with them throughout their lives.

We want students to invest in their financial future. Here are our most popular youth accounts:.

Savings Account
No minimum balance, no monthly fees
Members ages 5 & older
BrightStar puts first $1 in account
Free ATM card for ages 16 & older
Parent/Legal guardian must be joint account owner for youth under 18
Young Adult Checking
No minimum balance, no monthly fees
Members ages 16 - 23
First box of checks free
Free Visa Check card for ages 16 & older
Parent/Legal guardian must be joint account owner for youth under 18
