Can I finance a jet ski or personal watercraft?

Yes, jet skis and personal watercraft (PWC) are eligible for financing through our boat loan program.

Can I buy from a private seller?

Yes, we can finance boat purchases from both dealers and private sellers, subject to credit approval and vessel requirements.

Can I refinance my existing boat loan?

Yes, you can refinance a boat loan from another lender to potentially get a lower rate with BrightStar. Refinancing an existing BrightStar loan is not eligible.

Do I need marine insurance?

Yes, proof of marine insurance is typically required for boat loans. We recommend contacting your insurance provider for coverage options before applying.

Do I need to be a BrightStar member?

Yes, membership is required. If you're not already a member, you can join when you apply. Membership is open to anyone in our service area.
