Call 866-985-2273 to set or change your PIN. You do not need to know your old PIN to complete the process. You'll need your account phone number, card information, and last four digits of your SSN. You have 3 attempts per 24 hours to set your PIN successfully.

I have not received my debit card. Who do I contact?

If you have not received your new BSCU debit card, log in to Online Banking and complete the secure form to confirm or update the address associated with your account. BrightStar will mail your new debit card to the most up-to-date address. Not enrolled in Online Banking? Enroll today.

Are there any fees for getting a new debit card?

No. There is no fee associated with getting your new debit card.

Will my card number change?

Yes. Your debit card number, expiration date, and CVV will be different. Once you activate your new debit card, update your automatic and saved payment information with online merchants.

Will I keep my Debit Rewards points?

Yes! Your reward points on your Debit Rewards (ScoreCard®) will roll over to the new debit card automatically.

Will my existing card alerts transfer to the new card?

No. You'll need to set up new alerts for your new debit card. All card alerts and controls are now managed through Online Banking — there is no separate Card App required.

What should I do if my debit card is lost, stolen, or compromised?

Call 888-266-0464 immediately to report your card lost, stolen, or compromised so we can block it and issue a replacement.

Do I need to update my debit card information with online merchants?

Yes. While most large merchants will automatically update your new card number through services like Visa Account Updater, smaller merchants may require a manual update. Be sure to update recurring or saved payment accounts with services like Netflix, Amazon, Apple, etc.
